Testing

Dallas Therapeutic Services is pleased to introduce psychological testing capabilities to our available services. Psychological testing is a method of gathering and analyzing individualized data in order to better understand an individual’s personality, including diagnostic criteria and how the brain functions across a variety of tasks, such as attention or problem solving. Currently, DTS is able to offer in-depth diagnosis testing as well as Autism testing and IQ testing.

Depending on the type of testing, you will meet with one of our trained clinicians for an in-depth interview and completion of assessments. Once all of the data is analyzed, you will meet with the clinician again to your review your results, discuss how to use this information for next steps in your treatment and receive referrals for further care, if needed.

The cost varies for each testing, starting at $1500. While we are in network with insurance (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and Tricare certified), they do not always cover the cost of testing. We will call your insurance to check benefits, but we do not guarantee those quotes as they are an estimate of benefits from your insurance.

Tricare only: We are currently considered certified with Tricare, which is different than in network or out of network. Certified providers are the in between of not in network providers and in network providers. It means that we are on their list of approved providers, who can see their members usually at the same rate or slightly more than the in-network providers. Because of this, we do require a PCM referral prior to scheduling services.
